Hi every one.

Christmas and new years has been and gone for another year. I hope you all had a great one. We have had a very busy time on the Wild Wairaurahiri River till god turned the tap off …

We’ve enjoyed a enforced holiday due to the lack of water in the river. We put to it to good use with checking the traps along the South Coast Track and catching up on some other needed done chores.

Before Christmas Johan and I with the help of Dale Green from the Helicopter line put out 19 traps along the South Coast track making a total of 95 traps out now so combined with the 91 traps along the river that a lot of Stoat killing machines out there.

We also helped the Hump Ridge track with putting out 43 traps along their track. The aim for a controlled area is becoming real YAY.

Now for what your waiting for the death totals of the rotten pests that plague our forests
