Hi All,
So far the winter has been a grand one with warm conditions and as yet very little wild weather. The Princess Mountains have a slight dusting of snow, making photos of the area looking very spectacular.
We are at the turning point for winter with the shortest day hurdle been passed. From now on the days will lengthen.
Wairaurahiri jet have been busy jet boating Lake Hauroko and down the wild Wairaurahiri during the past months with the brave souls that take this time of year to join us on our adventures.
Joyce has been keeping busy with the South Coast and Hump Ridge tracks, hiking around checking the traps. hopefully we will be ready for the up coming beech masting and our traps will be set, baited and ready to snap some beasties.
Wairaurahiri Jet team has not let the grass grow under their feet with the annual Audit of the boat been completed. We have been awarded a award of excellence again from Trip Advisor, and Johan and I attended a TIA outdoor adventure conference in Wellington. It was great to see that our industry is in such a fine state and to meet up with some familiar faces and meet some new ones too.
Johan has a busy weekend coming up, jet boating into the amazing Waitutu and down to the Waitutu Lodge. Bookings for this summer are coming in thick and fast so if you are wanting to secure your seat on one of adventures this year send us a email.
